Because of the massive earth quake of Wenchuan in Sichuan province, many giant
pandas were sent to Bifengxia Panda Base. So we make a new Giant Panda Tour only
in Chengdu and Bifengxia on June of 2008. What our purpose is
to
do
something for panda bear which is under a dangerous condition. And Bifengxia
Panda Base needs many Panda Volunteers to help panda!

Duration: 11 Days
Route: Chengdu - Bifengxia - Chengdu - China Attractions: Chengdu Panda Base, Wenshu Temple and Wenshufang Old Street, volunteering in Bifengxia, visit Bifengxia Panda Base. Then come back to Chengdu. Itinerary Day 01: arrived in Chengdu Arrive in Chengdu where is the jumping-off point for the tour. You can ordain the first day by yourself. Also you can take a relaxation in the hotel and enjoy
Chengdu's night piece. (D) Day 02: Chengdu-Bifengxia Firstly, we will go to Chengdu Panda Base meet the beloved giant panda. Then have a lunch and taste appetizing Sichuan food. After that visit Wenshu Temple and Wenshu Old Street, where you can acquaint yourself with Chinese traditional culture. At about 16:00 we'll drive to Bifengxia Panda Base (150 km from Chengdu). It takes about 3 hours to get to Bifengxia. It will cost 3 hours. Firstly we will check in Hotel, then walk to Panda Base for procedure of volunteering work. Overnight in Bifengxia. (B/L/D)
These days are scheduled for the work as a giant panda volunteer. The work usually runs from 8:00 to 11:30. And the afternoon session is from 2:00 to 5:30. Different kinds of jobs will be arranged for you, such as cleaning panda's cages and enclosures, feeding panda with fresh bamboo, doing paper work for Giant Panda Club or interpreting in Panda Garden. Work is hard but you can get a close touch with giant panda. At the same time visiting Bifengxia Panda Base. Surely, overnight in Bifengxia. (B) Day 11: Bifengxia-Chengdu After several days in Bifengxia, You will drive back to Chengdu by yourself. After a long time's bus arriving at Chengdu Xinnanmen or Shiyangchang Bus Station, and then take taxi by yourself to Chengdu airport to take flight to your next destination. Service ends. (B)
