Itinerary
Day 01: arrived in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu where is the
jumping-off point for the tour. Then take the taxi by yourself to Binjiang
or similar hotel, where you can have a good relaxation and enjoy Chengdu's
night piece.
Day 02: Chengdu - Wolong
Take taxi to Chadianzi Bus
Station and you will take a long time's bus to Wolong. But we have booked
Panda Inn Hotel for you in Wolong, where you can have a good rest after hard
work in day time. In the afternoon you must go to meet your mentor for panda
vet, and register your name as a internship. (B)
Day 03 - Day 22: Wolong
During these days you must do a
hard work as internship of veterinary work for panda. But I'm sure it will
be a memorable time for your life. Because you will give a hypostatic to
panda, and spend a wonderful time with them. And you are arranged to
stay at Panda Inn Hotel this time. (B)
Day 23: Wolong- Chengdu
You will go back to Chengdu by
public bus. And take taxi to Binjiang hotel or similar hotel by yourself. Then overnight
in there. (B)
Day 24: Chengdu
You must go to airport by
yourself. All service ends. (B)
Quotation:
USD2800/per person, if any date falls on period of 15Apr-15Nov
USD2400/per person, for other dates. ..
Included: accommodation in 2* panda in hotel (one standard room with
breakfast), permit to work and internship fee (following a panda vet), a
certificate with the signature of the vet, tour body insurance.
Excluded: cloth rental(USD20/per person.) , Internship
certificate(USD5-10/per person), taxi and bus cost, Panda Garden entrance
fee (one time 10USD around), any other service not included above, body
insurance.
Internship:
all professional fields in pandas for graduated student and some scientists can
be arranged. In the laboratory assisting the vets, scientists, keepers in
medical procedures, animal hospital, nutrition, reproduction, gamete biology,
sperm bank, genetics, DNA, disease control, artificial insemination, breeding,
endocrinology, activity records, behavior research, nursing and management etc.
Internship tour reservation:
1:Please email us your information
a: your passport: full Name, Sex, Birth of Date, Nationality, Passport number

b: Introduction about your education, professional knowledge, any graduated
diploma and its copy etc;
c: Certificate of your Body Health: any form from your doctor, it proves that
you have not any history of infectious disease, and certifies your body healthy
now, the aim is to keep pandas away from any virus away. So after your body
examination, you should better keep your body healthy, as healthy as your
internship.
d: your request in internship, accurate date to arrival and duration days,
members in your party;
2:After we have applied the permit and make rough arrangement for you, we will
inform you of arrangement, and also inform you to bank wire full payment to the
account of our corp... (account be e-mailed to you in our e-mail sooner);
3: After your payment has reached into our account fully, we will make
re-confirmation to you on this reservation, and e-mail you some details about
your tour.;
4: Your work will be assigned by local reserve according to your professional
knowledge and your requests, as well as the need from Reserve.;
5: We keep the right to postpone your time to do internship if some important
project to be done or too busy to arrange your internship.
Meals:
If in local reserve staff restaurant, then cost about 3-10USD/day; if in local
hotel, then cost about 8-40USD/day; if in the wild, then cost about
10-20USD/day. Local Chinese style food.

The different kinds of volunteers:
1. The assistant of panda keeper
There will be a short days training. The time depends on the training steps.
a. There is one keeper will become your teacher, and please do what the teacher
ask you to do.
b. Clean the bedroom and the garden for the giant panda.
c. Prepare food, such as: carrot, apples, panda bread and biscuit. Also carry
the bamboo.
d. Sometimes, you should help the scientists to collect the behavior data.
e. Sometimes, you should help the veterinary to do the medicine care for the
panda.
2. The clerk of Wolong Panda Club
There will be a short days training. The time depends on the training steps.
a. The typist, help the staff type the documents.
b. The translator, translate the web pages, and some daily documents.
c. The web designer, help the staff design and develop the website.
3. The interpreter of panda garden
There will be a short days training. The time depends on the training steps.
a. Introduce the giant panda research, such as: the breeding, hand-rearing,
Husbandry, enrichment and so on.
b. Introduce the giant panda research cooperation, such as: with The States,
Japan, Austria, Thailand and so on, also the development of all of these
co-operations.
c. Introduce all the giant pandas, the different habit, behavior, experience of
each giant panda.
d. Introduce all the buildings and their function.
e. Tell the stories of the giant panda for the visitors.
