Position:
Because of the massive earth quake of Wenchuan in Sichuan province, many giant
pandas were sent to Bifengxia Panda Base. So we make a new Giant Panda Tour only
in Chengdu and Bifengxia from June of 2008. What our purpose is
to
do
something for panda bear which is under a dangerous condition. And Bifengxia
Panda Base needs many Panda Volunteers to help panda!
Hope
that more and more people can pay attention to Giant Panda after earth quake.

Route: Chengdu - Wolong - Chengdu - China Attractions: Chengdu, Wolong, Panda Valley, GPS track trace wild panda, Wolong Giant Panda Enclosure and Ecology Museum (Wolong Giant Panda Museum)
Itinerary Day 01: Chengdu - Wolong In the morning we must get up early. Take bus to Wolong (143 km from Chengdu), Wolong Panda Valley, hike up about 2-3 hours, then GPS track trace wild panda in wild Enclosure under the assistance and guidance of local expert with GPS. After that walk back down to Wolong and overnight in Wolong. (L/D)
Day 02: GPS track trace wild panda in Wolong , back to Chengdu In Wolong we will visit Wolong Giant Panda Enclosure and Ecology Museum (Wolong Giant Panda Museum). You can fully realize the Enclosure is so important for panda this endangered species. In there most of the giant pandas stay individually in the captive cages. Each enclosure consists of an indoor room and an outdoor courtyard. And Wolong Ecology Museum (Wolong Giant Panda Museum) will give your a further knowledge about pandas. All of activities finish we will come back to Chengdu. (B/L)
And this tour can be combined with Mt. Sigunangshan & Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve, also can linked to other nature reserve.

1. All volunteers must obey the regulation of this Researching Center and China's Law, and working directed by leaders and scientist of this Researching Center. 2. Prices are valid until May, 2007, but may vary according to your travel time and tour availability (e.g.: Chinese holiday periods: April 30th - May 7th, Sep 30th to Oct 7th, and Chinese New Year period which usually falls in January.
