Itinerary
Day 01: Chengdu-Hailuogou National Glacier
Park
Drive from Chenghdu Plain to the
edge of Schuan Basin, go through the Erlangshan Tunnel, which is the longest
one in Asia. Then stop at some place with nice view for taking photograph.
After lunch at a small town we will go on our journey to Muoxi, the entrance
town of Hailuogou Glacier Park. Then overnight in Moxi. (L/D)
Day 02: Hailuogou-Kangding
In the morning we will visit Hailuogou National Glacier
Park, which is noted for glacier, hot spring , azure
sky and virgin forest. Hailuogou Glacier is the
lowest one for sightseeing at the same latitude on
earth. The green buses will bring you to No.3
Campsite. Explore the mysterious and pretty snow
basin, and view the biggest glacier fall in Asia,
with 3100 feet high and 3000 feet wide. Also see the
glacier lakes, rivers, cracks, mushrooms and bridges. Go
through the Glacier Arch into the glittering and
translucent 'Crystal Palace'. If time is enough,
visit one Yi minority's village. In the afternoon
drive to Kangding, a spectacular Tibetan
town and China's love song country, famed for
China's popular folk song 'Khangding Love
Expression'. very important hub to Tibet, is also a
bright pearl set on Sichuan-Tibet Road ,Overnight in
Kangding. (B/L/D)
Day
03: Kangding-Mugetso-Xinduqiao
In the morning visit Kangding Mugecuo Scenic Area,
after lunch drive to Xindu Bridge. Climbing over
Mt.Zheduo, height of 4300 meters to Xindu Bridge, known as paradise of photographers'. overnight in Xinduqiao.
Day 04: Xinduqiao-Sigunangshan
We will
visit Tagong grassland, Tagong Temple by green bus
and visit Mt. Siguniang Shuangqiaogou valley, overnight
in Rilong town. (B/L/D)
Day 05: Mt. Siguniang-Wolong
In the morning visit Mt. Siguniang
Changpinggou valley, visit this valley by
trekking or horse-riding, you can see the four
peaks of Mt. Siguniang and virgin forest,
tourists should prepare some food since you have
few food options inside. afternoon drive to
Wolong, pass Mt. Balangshan, photograph rest for
grassland and the yaks, overnight in Wolong(B/L/D)
Horse-riding cost: Depending on your riding
distance, from start point to Erdaoping - RMB50,
Xiaganhaizi - RMB100, Lianghekou - RMB150, you
can bargain with the horse owner, the price is
for round trip.
Day 06:
Wolong-Chengdu
We will visit Wolong Giant Panda
Enclosure and Ecology Museum (Giant Panda
Museum) in the morning. You can fully realize
the Enclosure is so important for panda this
endangered species. In there most of the giant
pandas stay individually in the captive cages.
Each enclosure consists of an indoor room and an
outdoor courtyard. After lunch drive back to Chengdu,
all service ends. (B/L)
