Day 01: Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou - Aba

Depart from Chengdu in early morning, drive along with the Jiuzhai Valley route and pass through Dujian weir, Yinxiu, Wenchuan, Maoxian. The first sight in front of you would be the endless rural area of beautiful western Sichuan and country houses which surrounded by bamboos. Then, you will pass Dujian Weir - the great ancient irrigation system in Chinese history. Afterwards, go upward along with Min River which grandness and spectacular scene could be compared with Yellow River. Lunch and dinner.
The following sight is the Aba area, where Tibetan (Zang) and Qiang nationalities lives. Aba is the only living area of Qiang nationality besides Kangba Tibetan (Zang) and Jiarong Tibetan (Zang) nationality. Aba is well known for its blockhouses and hanging bridges which could be seen on the way. After Wenchuan and Maoxian, you will pass Diexihaizi and then the ancient city – Songpan, which was the important commercial and martial site in the Tang dynasty. Besides its historical position, the attractions of Songpan are surely beautiful and natural. Guests can ride houses with local people and visit the nature of Xuebaoding and Munigou, leaving behind all the city noises while walking along the green Haizi and the marvelous forest.
The total distance is 350 km and takes about 7 hours. Road condition is good. Overnight in in Songpan.

Day 02 - Day 04: Aba 

 These days will be camp tour with horse riding from Songpan to Munigou. Munigou Scenic Spot is located in Songpan County with Zhaga Waterfall and Erdaohai. There are very rich natural resource in the scenic area, as well as some rare animals such as Giant Panda and Canary Monkey. All these contributed to the "Fairland"--Munigou. Zhaga Waterfall Reputed as" NO.1 Calcifying Waterfall in China". It stands 104m high, 35m wide and falls down with the speed of 23m per second. The mystic Erdaohai is near to Zhaga Waterfall. In the 5km long valley, there is Erdaohai, Swan Lake, Feicui Lake, Rhinoceros Lake and other tremendous sceneries.
 

Day 05: Aba - Chengdu

We will leave Songpan to Chengdu. The trip ends.
